Anyone who chooses the Bieszczady Mountains and ends up in the vicinity of the town of Cisna will surely hear about the famous "Bieszczady train" or the "Bieszczady railway". To satisfy your curiosity and find out what is so unique about it, it is best to go from Cisna along the road leading to Komańcza to Majdan, where the main station of the Bieszczady narrow-gauge railway is located, and go for a ride on one of the proposed routes.
Many people buying tickets will be surprised by the climatic, historic building of the railway station, small, nice carriages, and above all, a drive through the forest through places that look as if they were at the end of the world, where the only sign of the proximity of civilization are the tracks on which the queue moves.
Until recently, everything indicated that this unusual railway line would be liquidated. However, thanks to the efforts of the established Foundation of the Bieszczady Forest Railway in Cisna - Majdan, it was possible to reactivate its activities and make it available to tourists again.
